Time for Tea with Mikita is a podcast about redefining self care. It's about looking at every aspect our life from music, career, family, relationships, and everything in between. It's about spilling tea on those conversations that are sometime hard to. Well, we're not afraid to have those conversations right here. Join me as we spill tea on every conversation you ever thought about, dreamed about, or whispered about. Hey y'all, it's definitely time for some tea. Growing up, I used to think manifestation was like money. You had to be rich to have it in abundance. What I've learned throughout this journey is that manifestation is as simple as speaking your dreams into the universe and trusting the process. Sitting here with Wendy Wonders is amazing. She has so much energy you can just feel it vibrating throughout the room. When I asked her to describe who she is without the titles she did not disappoint, Wendy says she's like a pot of delicious gum. To me, that means she's sassy, spicy, and a mixture of everything that keeps you grounded. Everything that keeps you grounded to your truest spiritual self, your future self, your past self, all to help you create. Your highest level of self. This is time for tea. I'm Nikita. And this is Wendy.Wendy Wonders:
Ooh, I'm like a gumbo, you know. Um, uh, I am a pediatric nurse of 20 years. I am a master manifestor. I am location independent, meaning I am a nomad and I'm married. Um, for how long child? Five years I've been together. 11 And the fifth one is I'm living my manifestation. So my manifestation statement IShow the world with my family and helping others live the life that they envision. And I'm actually doing that right now. So, yes. Thank you for, you know, being a part of that manifestation. Mikita.Mikita Smith:
With so much talk about manifestation, I'm wondering is there even a way to describe it or define it, or is it one of those things that you just have to experience it?Wendy Wonders:
Well, manifestation is just a fancy word for bringing it into your reality. So if you look at you, Mikita, you're living in your manifestation because you had the idea of doing this podcast, you had the idea, the name of it, the whole concept. So when you bring the idea, it came from a thought it like a little. Thought and then it came down. You had the vision. So I like to talk about the shockers as well, cuz you have the thought, you have the vision, right? Third eye, and then you go, you speak about it. So that's your throat chakra. You, you passionate about it. So that's your heart chakra. So it's just, it, it just flows to you. No matter what you're doing, you are manifesting whether you are an intentional manifester or an oblivious manifester because your reality, you manifested it in some way or fashion. Now things are not perfect. There's things that ha that happens. Obstacles that get in your way. That happens. So it is not happening to you. Maybe it's happening for you or it's just in the period of your life that it's a lesson that's gonna teach you something that will benefit you down the line, or it's part of your, becomes part of your story. Therefore, you can be a beacon for someone else that's going through the same thing and you can help them get to that point. So it's all like, you know, the yang and the yang, everything is not. Peaches and cherry and cream. You know, I'm not perfect, you know, I don't wanna be perfect. Ok. Like, we're all, we're all imperfect. And that's part of the journey the truth is the, the little nugget is sometimes you have to let go. Sometimes when things are not going your way, the easiest thing is let go, restart.Mikita Smith:
Wendy decided that she would test the. That she would let the universe prove to her whether she was truly a master manifestor. And this is what happenedWendy Wonders:
since I was young. I, every time I wanted something and I would state it, I would get it. And people start to notice it and say, Wendy, you always get what you want with it. I'm all like, Yeah, because that's, you know, I, I really have the intention. I put that's, that's the thing you have to do is put the intention towards that energy and you obtain it and have the awareness of getting it. So a story. Actually, I'm gonna read you a portion of my journal just so you'll get the idea. Of how I would test the universe and proving to me that it, and I just found this today, so I'm super, super like geek. Okay, so I wrote this August 5th, 2019, and this is what I wrote. I am a manifestor while sitting outside our apartment in sunrise, cuz I'm from Miami 3 0 5. I asked the u, I asked universe to prove that what I believe is real. I was very serious. I asked. I asked to have a swirl come up to us, and if that happens, I have to turn to Greg, which is my husband, and say I called for it here, and then I wiped away doubt. Then it that it wouldn't happen. Then I simply let the thought go and just had faith. About 30 minutes later, a squirrel came from the tree to the left of us down the. Parenthesis cuz we don't have grass right in front of where we were sitting right then at that moment I had to turn to Greg and say, I called for it. Omg. Crazy. Right at the very moment I knew I am a manifestor, so, Yeah. So I start hearing the term manifestation for about, um, 10 years now leading into the move, the secret Law of attraction. And I remember, I don't know, are you Mikita? Are you familiar with. Abraham Hicks or Esther and Jerry Hicks that wrote the book, Law of Attraction. So Esther Hicks, she channels the universe of the divine and it comes through to her as Abraham, right? So you can look on YouTube like she has these whole bunch of youth. Youtube um, videos of her doing her conferences, but I remember specifically she said that people that you see that are celebrities or highly successful, they always talked about some form of law of attraction or manifestation, but they never contribute their success to having that as a big component. And her saying that, I was like, Heck no. I'm gonna be the flag carrier. I'm gonna be the one that talks about manifestation. I'm gonna be the one. That stuff works, you know, and people seen it in my daily life and I actually start documenting it. And just like my journal, I used to journal about it cause I'm like, I need to document this, that it really, really works. So that's just a glimpse of how it manifestation and working with the universe really works and how it showed up in my life. This is my life purpose is to, teach about manifestation and really making your human self congruent and being a co-creator with your highest self.Mikita Smith:
After hearing this statement, I'm tempted to pull out my journal and start recording every instance where I felt that I have manifested something. It was definitely time for me to start detailing some of these accounts so that I could have proof of my own manifestation because I'm curious, am I a master manifestor too? I'm also wondering what role does doubt play?Wendy Wonders:
In manifestation, a self doubt is go, always gonna be there. Self doubt and fear is always gonna be there, but you just wanna acknowledge it and really take a step back and look at where does that stem from. Is that stemming from the way I grew up? Is that, does that stemming from, you know, the surroundings, like is surrounding me like really? Step back and look at it, and then now you can be like, Okay, I'm not gonna believe it. You know, self doubt and fear is like the cousin, I don't talk to cousin, I don't really like, you're there, right. but I'm not gonna entertain you right now. So I'm just gonna do what I need to do to get to my goal, and I'm gonna take actionable steps with co-creating with the divine to get to where I want. To be,Mikita Smith:
Wendy reminded me that sometimes we take our natural talents for granted, and when we're searching and looking for our purpose, rarely do we think that these gifts and talents that we have are actually a part of that purpose and that we shouldn't be running from them. We should be stepping into them, leaning into them, growing and learning from them. I think I've always known my purpose, and it's funny because the one thing that I've wanted more than anything in the world is the one thing that I know I'm the best at. And it scares me. It terrifies me, and yet it exhilarates me. I feel more connected. I feel my most happiest when I'm doing the one thing that I love the. So why is it so hard to accept that sometimes your purpose is that one true natural gift that you've been blessed with all along?Wendy Wonders:
I think we always kind of know our purpose, cuz it's something that, that comes natural to us and think, and something that people always tell us cuz they're on the outside looking into the job. It's hard to be in a jar looking out. So when people say, Oh, you're natural this, you're a natural, that, then that's something you can kind of evaluate to, to find out what you're purpose in and you go from there. That's a good exercise to do too. If those that's listening have a trouble finding what their purpose is. That's a great exercise to do. It's just what people always telling you that you're good at. What comes naturally to you, What is the thing that you like to do? It makes you the happiest.Mikita Smith:
When I think about living with purpose, I think about higher vibration, because you can't have one without the other When you are truly living and stepping into your purpose, when you are manifesting that life that you want for yourself and living it fully with purpose. Your vibration goes higher because you are so much more connected to your higher self. You can't help but to have a higher vibration, or as Wendy would say, Hi vibe. You attract your tribe.Wendy Wonders:
Hi vibe. You attract your tribe. Oh, oh. I love the sound of that Cardi B watch out coming with. Hi Bob. You attracted Chaves for real, like the vibration that you on and the higher vi. So when we talk about vibration, it's high to emotion. So the highest vibration is love and gratitude. That's the easiest way to get there, and so that's when you're happy. Joy, when you're just graceful for anything, it can be like, I'm grateful for this table for holding this laptop up so I can look at you. But when you're like in low vibration, sadness. Anger confusion. That's a low vibration and whatever emotions that you have, right? It transmutes into vibrations. You attract the things like it. So it's either when you're around someone or that has a low vibration who's angry, and then you become angry, and then the people around you become angry. No, you have the power to say, no, I'm not gonna let their energy affect my eyes. So I choose love and I choose gratitude to keep me on that high vibration. Therefore, I can talk to have a clear communication path with the divine, the universe, guy, whatever you wanna call it. So then I can live and walk in my manifestation in action.Mikita Smith:
Now with everything, you can't just say, Oh, I want it, and don't put any work or any effort behind it. When it comes to manifestation, not only do you just have the thought or the idea and then speak it and believe it, but you start working towards it, you have to put in some work to get the result that you wantWendy Wonders:
Yeah. You can't be hoping if it's just something to happen. No, you gotta go get it. I mean, imagine you have a genie sitting there and be like, Okay, Mikita what is it that you want? You like, Yeah, I want, uh, I don't know, Pink Mercedes. Red Mercedes, or whatever it is, Right? And, and you just sit there and wait. It's not gonna just gonna pop up in your driveway. The universe of the genie is gonna give you your gift at the point of least resistance. So it's gonna find ways to give it to you, but you have to put some action to make that path clear. So you have to put some action behind the, with the intention, of course. Everything's starts with a thought. Whether I'm think whether I pick up a pen, I thought to pick up that pen. I thought to move this mouse, I thought to do this. Everything starts with a thought, just one, have clarity. And the exercise she could do to have clarity is take it behind outside to nature, and. I, I prefer you to take your shoes and socks off, so could ground yourself and put your feet in your, um, grass area and just write down on a piece of paper with a pen, PreOn paper, whatever. Dream again, like you're a child. If you had no obstacles, no fear, what would your life look like? What would you go, How would you dress? How would your house look like? Where would you live? Where would you, all of that dream? And that's the first thing of getting clarity, because I realized that you can get all those things because as humans, We have free will. You always have the choice whether you have the choice to do it or not. There's no trying, whether you go for it or you're not. Cause I never, I don't know. I never wanna be in my death bed and have a regret. So, one, do that exercise, get clarity and manifestation. Has nothing to do with your religious preference. Right? It's actually in the Bible. I'm, I don't know. I don't, I don't all the quotes to the Bible, but it's in there. Um, think, think is, and you a receiver, something like, I don't know, Mikita right? but it's in. You see it, right? It's in there. So it has nothing to do with your religious preference. So once you got to know that it's just a law, a universal law that's there whether you are oblivious to it or not. So those are my little kind of tidbits. I gave a lot, but y'all could get something outta thatMikita Smith:
Wendy is a spiritual being that understands exactly what it is She. She knows her purpose and she's not afraid to ask the universe for what it is that she wants, and Wendy is helping others just like her to step into their purpose. You wanna connect with Wendy? Go to evolution of weed.net. All right, the tea is hot, and these are my key takeaways. Now, when it comes to manifestation, it's very important to understand that you have to have clarity and to help you to have clarity. Some of the things that you can do to connect with your true self is sitting in silence, allowing yourself time to just hear your own thoughts and also going into nature. So taking a walk or a hike is also a great way for you to find clarity. Also raising your vibrations. So this means being intentional and showing gratitude, speaking into existence, all the things that you're grateful for, and being around positive like-minded people that want you to achieve your highest level of self. Now, journaling is also a great way for you to have proof and experience your divine power. Now I'm gonna leave you with these simple get powerful words when it comes to manifestation. It's already yours. Now, I would love to have this conversation over on my Instagram page @thyme4teawithmikita. I would love for you to share your experiences and you can also send me an email at email@example.com. All right you guys, that is all the tea that I have to spill, but don't forget to join me next Tuesday as we spill more delicious hot tea. Until next time, namaste.
