I know that sometimes things get really chaotic, really crazy, and we all need a moment to just be able to take a break from everything, a moment to find that inner peace and calm and whatever balance that we can in our busy lives. So this episode is for all the busy moms, for all the busy parents, for anyone out there juggling your work, your job, your business-size hustle, kids after school practices, summer vacations, planning everything. I see you. So I'm just like you. I'm no different. I have my own stressors. I have those moments when I feel chaotic and crazy and my mind feels scattered and all over the place. The one thing that I do know how to do is how to find my center and find that inner peace that's inside of me, and you can do the same thing Find your inner peace. I think sometimes we look for perfection in this ideal of balance that doesn't really exist. There is no ideal, perfect life. There is no ideal balance. Sometimes we have to give our energy to other things and take some energy away from different things, and that's how we can find our balance by prioritizing what's important and what we need to take care of first and then move it on. And sometimes, when our life feels messy and chaotic, it's because we're trying to do a thousand things when we only have two arms and two legs and two hands. We have to slow down. Our minds can only work so fast and do so much.
Mikita: The key is asking for help. You are not putting this place in this space to do it alone. We have a huge network of people that care about you and that are willing to be there for you. So take advantage of the help that you have. Use the people that are there for you. That's what they're there for to help you. And sometimes we let our pride get in the way of taking people up on their offers, but sometimes we have to.
Mikita: I know having kids is completely crazy sometimes. Sometimes you can't even go to the bathroom by yourself, and that's where taking those breaks are so important, even if it's taking a 10-minute nap negotiating a plan. I use a lot of grocery pickups because my time is limited. It's precious. I spend all the time at the grocery store. Then I have less and less time to spend at home with my kids And doing the things that are important. So utilize the resources that you have. Make time to take breaks for you To find the calm, to find the inner peace, and balance.
Mikita: One of the things that I love to do to find my inner balance is to sit in silence. I know you heard me say this before, but I would have lost my mind If I've never would have been able to just sit still for a second, to sit in stillness and quietness and just allow myself to think whatever thoughts, to feel whatever I need to feel, and then be able to let it go. Breathing has also helped me, and you don't have to be all fancy doing all these different breathing techniques. Just regular in and out breathing. Allow yourself to do that for like a minute or two, 30 seconds if that's all you have. But take a moment. You will feel so much more peaceful, so much more renewed. Sometimes we just need a reset button real quick. Sometimes hidden reset is just going to the store and getting out the house and coming back in or sitting outside for like five or 10 minutes and just enjoying all the things that nature have to offer. Sometimes that looks like naming five things that I'm grateful for. But finding that peace and air calm is gonna look different for different people depending where you're at and what you need. Sometimes it's being calling up a friend and having someone to just talk to. Those are just a few ideas to get you in the mindset of finding what that would look like for you And then developing a practice so you don't always feel so chaotic and out of place all the time. Start doing little steps, little things that you know that you can commit to.
Mikta: I'm a big idea person, but I always have to slow myself down and remind myself could I really commit to this thing every day and show up for myself, and how much time will I be willing to commit to this thing? Because my peace of mind and my inner peace is so important to me. I do make the time every morning to dedicate five to 10 minutes of sitting in silence, depending on my needs. I sit a little bit longer, but I make sure that this is my time and I deserve five or 10 minutes, even if that means getting up early in the morning And I'm not an early morning person. I don't like getting up extra early, but when I think about the benefits and how it's gonna help me feel and how much calmer and relaxed I'm gonna be, it's well worth it. I can get up 20 extra minutes to have some quiet time to be alone with myself and my thoughts.
Mikita: All right, that's all the tea, but I hope this helped you And if you feel like this is something that could benefit someone else, share this message with the next person.
