In this episode, we're going to be diving into a meditation on releasing Releasing all the stress that you're holding onto, all the expectations. If you're ready, let's start. I'm your host, Mikita. First of all, I want to thank you so much for sharing your time, your space and your amazing energy with me today. I created this meditation because I definitely know what it feels like to feel like you're carrying a backpack full of rocks, feeling like the weight of the world is truly on your shoulders and it just keeps getting heavier and heavier. But what we're going to be doing in this episode is releasing that. We're going to be taking a step back and just allowing yourself a space to lighten that load, and I'm going to be here to support you every step of the way. So, when you're ready, I want you to get into a comfortable seated position and I want you to close your eyes, palms upward, and I want you to take a deep breath in and, as you're exhaling out, I want you to roll your shoulders back. I want you to just picture yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful, serene lake. Imagine that the sun is setting, painting the sky with beautiful hues of orange, pink and purple. Now I want you to take that heavy backpack off of your shoulders. I want you to feel the immediate relief. I want you to feel lightness and freedom and peace as you take that backpack off of your shoulders.

Mikita :

Now, hold the first rock in your hand. It's labeled stress. I want you to feel its weight, its roughness. Now, with all the energy you possess, I want you to throw it into the lake. Watch as it creates ripples before sinking. Imagine that you just let go of your stress and how it feels.

Mikita :

This time I want you to take a deep breath in and I want you to feel the tension slowly start to release from your body. Then I want you to pick up the rock labeled fear. It's okay to acknowledge it, to feel its weight, but you are not meant to carry it forever. So, with a deep breath, throw it into the lake and feel it sinking away from your life. I want you to continue this process with each rock anxiety, insecurity, expectations and with each throw, feel the weight lifting, the freedom growing, the peace settling in Now, with a deep breath. Throw it into the lake.

Mikita :

This time, as you take a deep breath in, I want you to feel relaxed, free, feel the release. So, with a deep breath, throw it into the lake. Slowly, bring yourself back to the present. Find peace in letting go, find peace in acknowledging the things that you are holding onto, knowing that you can come back to this meditation at any time. Slowly open your eyes. Awesome, you did it, and I want you to know that, anytime you feel the weight of the world, anytime you feel like you are carrying a backpack full of rocks, filled with stress and anxiety, any fears and securities or social expectations, that there is a place for you to let it go and release all of those emotions, to feel centered, to find clarity right here.
